TWO LUCKY DIGICEL CUSTOMERS WIN A TRIP FOR TWO TO SUNDERLAND FOOTBALL CLUB TO WATCH THE PREMIER LEAGUE SIDE IN ACTION

Monday, November 21st 2011 – Kingston, Jamaica: While the 2011 Digicel Kick Start Clinics and Academy have come to an end, the thrill of the beautiful game is still going for two lucky Digicel customers who won an all-expenses paid trip to Sunderland to see the Premier League side face Blackburn Rovers in the Stadium of Light.

The trip, which takes place in December, is the top prize in Digicel’s text-to-win competition, the ‘Road to Sunderland’, which took place last month. Following thousands of entries, Jean Lunicmanm Souffrant and Jean Jocelin Prophete – both from Haiti – were announced as the winners.

SIGNATURE FLIGHT SUPPORT LANDS IN ST. MAARTEN WITH THE ACQUISITION OF ARRINDELL AVIATION SERVICES N.V.

Signature Flight Support strengthened its foothold in the Caribbean today with the announcement that it has acquired a majority stake in Arrindell Aviation Services N.V. (AAS).  AAS has been in operation at St. Maarten, Dutch Caribbean’s Princess Juliana International Airport (SXM/TNCM) for 25 years providing flight support services for both business and general aviation customers and commercial airlines. The enterprise will be formally known as Arrindell Aviation by Signature.

DIGICEL BLACKBERRY CUSTOMERS TO BE REIMBURSED

Thursday 20th October 2011 – St. George’s, Grenada: Following on from RIM’s unprecedented announcement that BlackBerry customers will be able to avail of up to US$100 worth of premium BlackBerry apps in the coming weeks, Digicel is pleased to announce that it will also reimburse those customers affected during last week’s outage.

As such, Digicel prepaid BlackBerry users whose service was active during the outage will be reimbursed for the hours of interruption to their internet subscription during that period in the form of credit – whilst Digicel postpaid BlackBerry customers will receive a credit on their monthly bill for the equivalent duration of the outage of BlackBerry services.
